About R.Stannard Joinery
Established in 1968, the company has grown and developed into a specialised, bespoke joinery and cabinet manufacturer. Our field of work covers all areas of the timber trades from a church roof to French polishing.
Although the business is, in many ways very traditional we endeavour to stay abreast of modern construction methods and materials, to achieve the best possible results. All exterior joinery is dipped in preservative, knotted and supplied as standard with two coats of Teknos water borne primer, giving a flat finish suitable for top coating without any preparation.
Hardwoods can be finished with a Teknos translucent finish. This topcoat protects against UV radiation, humidity and fungal attack, to provide long term protection. Also available is a solid timber, treated to give a 60-year minimum service life, with all the associated advantages.
From humble beginnings R.Stannard Joinery now runs maintenance programs on grade one listed buildings and grade two listed buildings and a country estate. This work combines monitoring both the fabric of the buildings for regular maintenance, with conservation of the furniture and interiors.
R.Stannard Joinery is based in Bridlington, Yorkshire but has carried out work across the UK. From a single window frame to a bespoke built conservatory or restoration on a grade listed building.
